I dont think any bike of mine would call itself my best friend, my GSX1100FR was with me from 1994 to 2000 - twice got hit whilst stopped at traffic lights, the other 26 accidents, from the first where at 4 weeks old we were broadsided by a guy stealing a car....affectionately know as frankensteins baby due to the amount of plastic welding and alloy welding done...

the worst / best slide on the wing driving along a dual carriageway in the rain, came down the hill and the road was about 4 inches deep in liquid mud, stopped just before the concrete barrels ..... sometimes not being a fair weather driver has its downsides....

anyway I dont recall ever crashing a best friend ..... :)

Where in Germany, I was thinking of a trip up to Hockenheim in May or early June.

My mate has just moved to Munich so there will be a weekend jaunt over there.

I also have an urge to drive to Berlin for some reason......but nothing really planned just one of those desires, like another desire is to drive to Bari to go to Greece....
