Scorpion Exo 1K Helmet ....anyone got feedback on them ?

I'm looking to get one and just wanted to see if anyone has any positive or negative feedback on them ? They're on sale tomorrow at Cycle Gear for $260.

If you need pump up cheek pads and a heavier helmet get it. i prefer EXO 400 / 700 over this newer model...

I have the 700 and it seems to have most of the features listed here with the exception of the inflatable cheek pads. Although i have to admit, the 700 could be lighter IMO. It's a great helmet for the price DOT and SNELL approved.

I own the Exo 1000 Apollo, and think it is a very nice lid. This so far is the most expensive helmet I've owned besides the Shoei I bought recently. I took it back because I did'nt realize it had a butterfly on the side of it (FLUTTER), luckily Cycle Gear has a 7 day return policy on helmets so I was'nt stuck with it!:rofl: I must admit though the Shoei is a lot lighter then the Scorpion, but I have a big head so I can handle the weight. I paid $354 otd so $260 sounds like a good deal!

Thanks for the input bro ! I had the wife stop by today and order me the Matte Black Exo 1000......I tried on an Apollo at the Suzuki dealer and liked the fit but Cycle Gear had a much better price. :oh yeah: The fit is way better than the HJC that I have now.
