Here's my Bad Boy after just being brought home from the dealer 2 weeks ago... all stock setup; no surprises:

So I scored a couple of goodies and removed the four bolts holding that rear fender abomination, and, voila, the bike instantly looks a little meaner, a little nastier.... :mohawk:

Windscreen came out looking pretty good, I think....

Here's close-up of the Kanji artwork.... look subtle against the heavy tinting:

I like it, I think it looks pretty killer.... off now to fabricate a license plate bracket....

Nope, that is Suzuki's own "accessory" windscreen for the Gen II Busa. It is 1.5" taller than stock. it is normally a light smoke tint, but I darkened it up considerably with judicious use of semi-gloss black paint on the *inside* of the screen. :thumbs up:

Yeah, yeah, I know... that one is going to have to wait a while, I am sad to say. I was going to get slip-ons, but that was when I thought (mistakenly) that Suzuki put the catalytic converters in the stock canisters. Turns out that they are NOT in the canisters, they are forward of them.

So the only way to really loose all that weight is with a complete, full system.

And you just KNOW that is going to cost an arm and a leg, being a brand new model bike. I just ain't got the spare $$$ for that, and won't anytime soon.

Looks like I'm stuck with the OEM bazookas for a while... :head meets wall:

It is indeed the Suzuki "gel" seat for the Gen II Busa.

It was purported to sit you up about a 1/2" higher than stock, but I'm not sure that's really the case. It might be a little higher, or I might be imagining it because it's a firmer seat that the stock one.

It's a pretty nice seat, regardless.
