And so now fellow Hayabusa enthusiasts... the countdown has begun.
I find myself sitting here in the NetOp's Center, alone.... It's 5:55AM and I'm closing down towards the end of another 12 hour shift and I've been busy online. Boots. Definitely, I need a good pair of boots. Pants, soon enough. Helmet, I'd like to upgrade to a modular, maybe, we'll see. Jacket, nah, I'm good w/ my A-Star... Gloves, on the list now to replace my cold riding gloves. I've been looking for aftermarket parts.... The only thing that's really been catching my eye are the Yoshi slip-ons in Carbon Fiber, but I think that's gonna be a tough-sell to the SO given the fact that is some serious change to be dropping...
Folks, I'm 26(ish) days out from being home, and I have that throttle itch like none-other. When I was on the phone w/ the soon-to-be-wifey she mentioned about having me all to herself the night I first come home. I told her "Sure babe, just after I get back from a ride!" Half joking, half serious... she didn't like either the joking or serious part of that statement. Ehh, guess I'm lucky not to be in the doghouse on that one! :surprise:
But I'm already looking forward to my first full day back.... bringing the bike down off the stands, giving it a quick look-over, then off to refuel and for a long day of riding. Where? Hell I don't know, I'll let the music on the IPod figure that one out... I just can't wait to get a piece of that throttle again and be back on two wheels..... I hope to see y'all on the road soon.
