I am finally an official Hayabusa owner!:banana:I made the deal in January at the Toronto Motorcycle show and it has been a very long winter. So two weeks ago I called Suzuki of Newmarket and told them to get it ready for Saturday April 26. I figured this was lots of time to get there sh*t together and have it waiting for me when I get there. I guess I was expecting too much, because when I got there for my appointment the bike was still in the back shop (dirty by the way) and with no plate. So finally I get ahold of my salesman to find out he doesn't even have the plate for it. He said he thought we were transfering a plate (meanwhile I talked to him 3 days before to comfirm new plates). And even if we were transfering he didn't have that done either. To make it worse I drove and hour and a half to get there and was planning to drive it home. So now I am getting red in the ears and ready to hit someone. Thank god I have a pick-up and we decide to get it home that way and they will send my plate Monday by Fed Ex. Now if thats not bad enough they lost my fax of proof of income for the financing so they wern't going to let me take it untill I got it to them (did I mention I live an hour and a half away?) So the business manager now sees the rage in my eyes and agrees to let me fax it again as soon as I get home. Now you're probaby saying "maybe you were just having a run of bad luck". No, during all of this we were outside talking to some other unhappy customers. Lost keys, dead batteries, and one guy bought a used bike and it was low on oil so they made him buy his own to top it up! :surprise:. So that was my experience with Suzuki of Newmarket. The good news is, I have it home safe now and I put 200K on it today (thank god I had a stickered plate from my wifes bike we just sold). It is an incredible machine and that makes up for all the problems I had getting it. Thanks for listening to me vent some anger and I hope to ride with you local Toronto riders soon. I have already met Andrew aka Doom and Gloom, he happened to be there during my experience. Thanks again for helping me tie her down in the truck. She made it home without a mark
Have a good one:cheers:

you dont get it right away...sometimes 6mos later...thats how they decide what new features "most" riders want..etc.. but the customer service issues do get their attention..and in one case a dealership sales manager wrote me a letter blaming me cuz they didn't get a plaque that year for customer service ...lol.. i attached to the survey and said even though it's 5 mins away i will NEVER spend another penny there..i never have..and i have bought 8 bikes elsewhere cuz they were such aholes..

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I will definitely not be taking my bike back there for anything, and I will fill in the survey with a nasty letter attached. You would think when someone buys the company flagship machine he would get a little respect. I felt like I was just a number that day and not even in the top 10. Again thanks for the welcome and we need to ride together sometime. If anyone post a time and place and if its within our means, my wife and I will be there. She is riding a YZF 600R and doesn't mind catching up at the next stop sign.
Have a good one
