Just like everyone else, I want rid of the 'floatation tanks' attached to the side of my 'busa. As the main reasons for this is to reduce weight, it would be usefull if I could find the technical specifications for the exhausts you guys are talking about.

I'd also like to reduce the size, increase the noise and not have to part with any limbs but they are all secondary requirements.

As a guide, for me and others, it would help to know the following: Weight, Length, Overall Width (when fitted), Noise Level and Cost.

Could anyone post the details of any that they know about.

I'm probably only going to change the cans but I'm willing to be persuaded otherwise.

Thanks in advance

That was the first place I looked. Lots of great pics but looks are the least of my worries.
Having just done my first track session on the 'busa,:oh yeah::banana::rofl: I'm actually more worried about noise levels. As one of the testers pointed out, a big engine like the 'busa's, doesn't take a lot to make it very load.

Brands Hatch has a limit of 102dB but some UK circuits are as low as 98dB.:head meets wall:

I don't want to fork out hundreds of pounds for a set of cans that I have to remove for track use.

Any advise would be greatfully received.

Cheers

I would think you would be ok with either 2brothers, leovince, YOSH TRS series and I would say keep to DUAL EXHAUST SLIP-ONS, IMO they run quieter.-Duane

What do you know about the Yoshi R22's?

The look a bit bling but they appear a much better size and shape.

From what I can work out, the R22, R77 and TRC Yoshi slip ons for the K8 all have the same dyno chart.
So the visual appearance is the only difference.
I can tell you that the R77 slip ons weigh 8kg less than the OEM mufflers that they replace and the sound is terrific with the baffles in and loud with them out.

I would be quite happy to ride with the baffles in or out as the situation suits me.

Hi Jon , I had the R22's on my K5 Busa...very nice and not at all "blingy" in fact understated with the yoshi logo etched into the pipes. Not loud with the baffles in. you would have no problem at brands ect.
