my 08 is late!!

hello every one im new here!! im getting an 2008 busa and its late getting to the dealership!!! i sure hope it gets here soon, our drag rae season opens next sunday and i want to give it a go!!:oh yeah: how is everyone liking there 2008 busas?? i have a 2007 gsxr now that is black and orange too, its gonna be a little sad trading it in but as long as the busa is faster im happy!!!

I just picked up a used 03 Busa from a dealer, It was supposed to ready friday before this weekend, Guess what? NOT !

I gave them 2 weeks notice of when I was coming to get, they had to fix one part.

Any how I will have this coming friday.:cheers::rant:

:oh yeah: im getting the black and orange the color just looks fffffaaasssst!!! im going to strap it and lower it for the strip, and hopefully get some diffrent exaust on it soon.. I have so many projects going on now modding to many things that im starting to go broke lol, ill diff. put some pics of the beauty up as soon as i get it!!! ill be glad to get it, im loosing to much sleep thinking about it, i want it in my gaurage so i can drool all over it lol

I bought an orange and black K8 on Jan 28. They had it in stock but I waited three weeks to have it delivered because I hadn't told my wife about it yet. I was waiting to tell her when she was in a good mood and that took a while. I knew she'd be pissed but........?All i wanted was to have it in my garage, but then it was like another three weeks, till I got ins. and registration. I couldn't wait to take this new bike for a rip and see what it could do, but it was three more weeks till the snow melted and it wasn't freezing out anymore. This bike has been like a new relationship. The waiting and anticipation has been part of the thrill and made that first ride even better. So try to enjoy the wait. It will be worth it I promise.

I also traded in 07 Gixxer for the 08 Busa. I will miss the Gixxer when I go out freeway thrashing. Other then that the Busa rules.

It is a great bike and handles very well for a big bike. i think you will be happy.
