To all my fellow Canadians, if you have only heard of this, now you can see your Rights.
It's not very long, but vary open to interpretation.
Our rights are new and have vary little case law, compared to the US and the UK.
Because of this the Judicial system is vary cautious with Charter arguments. You must remember once an arguement is won or lost, it's compiled which then starts to mould the legal decisions through out Canada.
Our judges are like the gatekeepers when it comes down to it, deciding whats best for the country.
I'm not a big fan of the government, but I highly respect the efforts from Judges that have to make these great decisions that can and could change our lives over night.
