Haven't really decided if I'm going to add anything yet. I love the understated look, but it is a little too plain from the front. Maybe a smaller kanji in charcoal grey?

It wasn't so much the design that made me want them off, more how cheap and nasty the decals are. Compared to my Ducati they're, well, cheap and nasty!

I'll have a think.

I agree that they do look cheap , they really should be laquered over the top

I like it - most of my bikes I usually take the decals off but for some reason I havnt done it with this bike, my ZX10 looked so tacky until I removed the decals and then looked nice an sleek after that - might go down the same path, wonder what the blue would look like clean ???

Cheers mate!

They're pretty easy to remove once you get the technique down. If you decide to take them off, do NOT use the hair dryer to warm up the entire decal. Just use it to start peeling, then peel the rest off in one piece cold. A LOT less adhesive is left behind when they're peeled off cold, but you will need to get the edge you start off on quite hot.

I like the stealth look more and more and I suspect I will add nothing to the bike, but still not fully decided.

you could add some gold wheels!! i like what josh aka wild turkey did to his.. the gsxr logos look sweet!! the grey busa is already plain and stealth looking like a battleship and anything to break up all that grey is good imo.. after seeing the grey and blue in person i felt like i might have to buy another bike to get my heart pumping..only saw orange on tv and in pics.. but when i saw in person holy crap pumkin is the last thing to come to your mind unless your jealous of course!! the word hayabusa in the sticker does look like fuggin fred flintstone carved out of slate!! horrible so i understand what you mean by cheap. i hate chrome but the chrome gsxr decals on my 99 750 where the big r was chrome would look good on the battleship busa

I think a BLACK KANJI would look sick:not worthy: on your K8

I think its hot, looks like you might get away with more illegal type stuff. Just as long as you don't admit to it on the internet.:head meets wall:
