New busa owner from Chitown

hey all... just graduated from my gixxer 600 to the best bike in the world. picked up my blue 08 busa approx 2 weeks ago.:banana::banana: the weather here has been crap since i rode it home so only a little over 100 miles on the odo so far. the temps are starting to go up and i can't wait to get out and ride. hope to pick up some good busa knowledge and maybe a new riding buddy or two from the area. :thumbs up:

i've already de-beavered the tail, removed the reflectors and stickers, and have a tank pad on the way. other than that i am gonna save up some coin and do all the big mods over the winter b/c i don't want to take her apart and waste precious riding time.

hey muskrat, i just got a blue k8 busa as well and am in chicago near wrigley. I'm a graduate student at Rush so don't get a lot of free time to ride but am hoping to pile on some miles over the summer
