i have been looking around for an exhaust for my 03. going to be my first mod. what do you think will give me the best hp and sound for the money. should i put the power commander with it or is it ok if i run w/o it?

+1:cheers: welcome, with GenI hayabusa, iMO, you will need a PC with what ever pipe you go for. if you are looking for performance and still great looks, with the genI , i like the Ti-Force Sumo pipe:not worthy: it has great gains, with a USB and Sumo, small air-box mod, i have seen the bike make mid 160's HP, that is pretty good gains starting from mid 155's(Stock HP) its called SUMO for a reason, it has a huge bore, realy nice flow and sound.

BMC filter, cut the airbox and pull the flapper. power commander, pipe, and tune.

The PC and tune will set you back a bit but I would say that is worth as much power as a pipe itself without a tune.

I gained 6HP with a PC and tune on a stock setup (no pipe).
