I feel for these poor guys... I guess there are some advantages to having an old bike.

Anything can happen anytime on a bike. I dropped my brand 07 ZX-14 SE the second day I had it because I wasnt used to the clutch. I went to make a turn out onto the main road and as I rolled out and went to make my left turn, I stalled and fell flat on the left side of the bike. Very embarrassing I will say but it could always have been worse. These bikes are not for beginners, I have been riding many years but never on such a quick bike and it got away from me a couple of months later but I managed to gain back control and only scrapped a guard rail with my left leg and the Powers Stunt Works drag bars saved the bike completely. I got used to the bike very quickly after that but for those who have not rideen a Busa or a 14, and decide to buy one and go out there and ride it like you would your average bike, think twice before you do and take your time to learn the bike and get a feel for it.

I agree totally.
A rider needs running in as well as a hyperbike.
1st time I rode my 99 busa, I pulled an accidental wheelie from the 1st set of lights I stopped at.
Simply because of the huge boost in low rev power.
:oh yeah:

add another orange one down. cold road and greasy bridgestones :rant:for those who were wondering. will have pics when i can walk out there to take them. that curb hurts when you hit it at 50. btw these bikes have far better plastics than previous. mine flipped 4 times and slid to a stop from 50mph and shows little damgae considering... guess its time for the good ole pilot powers to go on. i wanted custom paint but didnt wanna have to wreck first. o well sh!t happens i guess
