:umm:I just bought the New Busa and i have never lowered a bike before. i am going to build this one for drag mostly so i was looking at the Bare Neccessities Drag from brocks but i wasnt sure if it would ride normal or what because i want to ride it on the streets too, like after work and on weekends and stuff. I am not sure if i should just strap it and it will be ok or get lowering bushings and a triple tree clamp and links? Anyone that could give me some advice that has some experience with which one is better for the street/strip or if there is a difference at all please your input would be awsome!!! Thanks!!

Straping the front end is for Strip only. For on the street there are a few options available you can put in the spacers and lift your factory top plate then slide you forks further up lowering the bike. Another option for the street is an aftermarket top clamp which is cut out above your fork tubes and allows you to slide your forks up without lifting your hand position. Third option is to install spacers internally into your fork tubes which lifts the springs higher in the tubes lowering the front end of the bike aswell.

I AM ON MY SHIP RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I AM IN THE NAVY ON DEPLOYMENT BUT I DO HAVE PICTURES BECAUSE MY MOM SENT THEM TO ME AS SOON AS I FOUND OUT THAT THE DEALER HAD THE COLOR I WANTED HER AN MY STEP DAD PICKED THE BIKE UP FOR ME AND IT SUCKS BECAUSE I HAVENT EVEN RODE IT YET!!! OK? SO CAN I USE THE SPACER AND THE TRIPLE TREE CLAMP? BECAUSE I FOUND THE TRIPLE TREE CLAMP THAT LOWERS IT 3/4" AND THEN THE BUSHING SPACERS LOWER IT ANOTHER 1" I WANT AROUND 1 3/4" LOWERED IN THE FRONT SO COULD I COMBINE THE TWO OR DOES IT NOT WORK LIKE THAT? :umm:

to slam it down you will need longer dog-bones or adjustable, Canadian Mike can hook you up with an extended swing-arm 4", 6" etc......

I am only trying to figure out the front end because i was planning on getting adjustable rear dog bones and later down the road extending it. but my question is what is the best way to lower the front end? Is there anything i can do that is easy to get lower than an inch of drop? Can i use the spacers and a lowering triple tree clamp?

I Would Use Straps And Triple Clamp. Strap For The Track. That Will Still Give You Full Suspension On The Street.
