View Full Version : What is it? Yoshi box of some type

Hey tech guys I can't find out what this is. I have a Power Commander on my bike but under the main seat is a rectangular black box (looks like the "brain" but it has Yoshimura on it. What is it? I have Yoshi tri oval exhaust. Does this replace the factory brain somehow? I can't find one like it on the Yoshi website or anywhere else. Thanks in advance for the info!

I believe its called like "an EMR??? " something along those lines, it is a YOSH pc, just like the dynoject PC. It is not a yosh box, a yosh box plugs directly into a stock Busa ecu and you can lean or richen , advance or retard ignition via the YOSH box. What you have is just like a PC. You upload maps via the YOSH site into the yosh pC.:smoke: that is what it looks like you have in the busa. Reputable wise it is not as good as a Powercommander and you are limited in the maps you can choose, mostly because you use this with YOSH product line. I cannot however find the yosh site where you can get the maps.:head meets wall: this is what i am betting you have on your Busa.-Duane

SteveO I thiknk I just posted the first pathetic newb question! You guys are great, thanks for the help. I think this is just a stock part with a very carefully placed Yoshimura sticker on it. That's my take anyway:head meets wall:

Yeah, that looks like the stock ECU with a sticker:whistling: I see the PC which is under the passenger seat section, txs for the pics
