Map needed

Hi guys i have an 05 Busa le and just last fall bought a set of pipes off of ebay, well actually there just tips about 5inches long no baffles . They come out right under my footpegs and there loud as hell. I like them but i dont want to hurt my engine so i picked up a used pc3 usb and am thinking i should go and get the bike dynoed but im a little low on funds so was wondering if anyone has a map i could use or know of one that would work for the time being until i can get bike proberly dynoed only mods done to bike is the pipes small airbox mod and the marble mod :) Thanks for any input.

Cool thanks for that welcome im a lurker (read a lot just dont post much)... ive seen those maps on the powercommander site but i cant figure out which ones would closely match what im running.

Have no fears about damaging your engine. Even with those little unbaffled shorties, your 05 engine with its stock 11:1 compression ratio will not run lean enough to cause it any harm. However, your engine will require tuning if you want it to run optimally. The freebie dynojet maps suck, as they were never intended to provide over all quality engine performance. If they actually provided quality mapping, THAT would kill their Dynojet dyno sales as well as the need for people to have their engines dyno-tuned.

Thanks for the info guys , im noticing a bit of backfiring so im going to do the marble mod, and im planing on getting it mapped next month. I wonder if i should just leave my powercommander off till i bring it in to get mapped or should i install it with a base map for now? On a side note i picked up an r1 throttle tube the other day from alberta cycle for 13 bucks and noticed a big difference on the bike ..much snappier :oh yeah:
