I think its just a +6 arm, it is sitting at 62" wheelbase right now. I need to lower it a little more but for now I plan to ride a little with a passenger so its higher than it normally will be. The taillight set-up makes it difficult not to scrape. I still have alot to do, I have a PC multi function hub and a wideband etc to go on it. and I have to tap the arm for the chain gaurd-can't believe they didn't do that at Velocity.
Thanks for the kind words!

Parts list=
Trac top tree
Velocity 2 to 6 arm
Koenig 2 inch billet pan
RCC header
RCC plenum with 42 lb secondary injectors
NLR secondary controller
T3/T4 ebay turbo
Autozone air filter
Tial 38mm wastegate
Walbro 255litre pump
Aeromotive fuel regulator
Mcdaniels guages
Dump pipes and boost tube made by me
2 stage boost control made by me
All fittings provided by Parker Store
I have the 1st stage of boost set at 6 pounds and the 2nd at 10
At 12 pounds of boost it made 303hp and 175tq with an air fuel of 11.4
I played with the mode switch at 10 pounds and this is what it did. I was expecting it to drop in power but it did the opposite. I thought the mode switch just affected timing but apparently it affects fuel as well.
At 10 lbs- mode a- 286hp- air fuel 11.4
At 10 lbs- mode b- 293hp- air fuel 12.2
At 10 lbs- mode c- 297hp- air fuel 13.2

Last night a couple of friends and I put on the R77 Yoshimura (Carbon) Slip Ons and removed the rear fender and reflectors. I highly recomend the Yosi slip ons, but you HAVE to remove the baffles, it's a world of difference.
I have since put on the two GSXR's from extreemedecals.com

Bike Rides Great, The 240 Tire Still Corner's Good. Swing Arm Is 4' Over
Bike Realy Handles Well, Compared To Stock It's Better Than I Thought.
Was It Worth It? Hell Yea!!!!!! The Kit Just Bolted Right Up. Chain Was Real Close To The Frame, Rode It For About 20miles. Chain Hit A Few Times
After 20 More Miles It's Not Hiting The Frame.

The Eagle has landed !!
So two days in and 200 miles - what a pleasure - get go like the space shuttle even at 4 -7 k running its plenty fast because of the oodles of torque - noticeable things - suspension a tad firmer , tyres good now round to the edge - gear indicator really good (always wanted one back since my kettle) - the yoshis have a great tone and not too intrusive
noticed some ooze coming from the cans - wipes off with a damp rag , assume that this will stop with a layer of carbon or do we think that the cat produces more liquid ?
Orange is very distinct - and possibly very fast !!!!
Theres no excuse not to do it - as a evolution barring the howitzers ( remove on reception) Suzuki have produced another legend

05-11-2008, 09:23 PM
I've ordered the Yosh R77 Carbon 4/2/1. It seems that Yoshimura USA is barely keeping up with the demand. I'm more interested in the 35 pound savings then the additional performance. Also, I've ordered the Carbon Fiber rear wheel hugger from Skidmarx and as soon as I can figure out how to pull my license plate light and harness without destroying anything, I'll remove the original rear fender as one unit.
Something's pinching the harness to the license plate light, and it isn't the connector since that's been disconnected. I guess I'll have to explore this a little bit more.
I haven't had time to go back and try to pull the aft left mini push on pin holding the undertail to the bodywork yet.
I just cleared a thousand miles, so she's ready to go!
If you're wondering why my Busa is in miles, it's because I bought it in the US. The help and service I received there and the help and service I continue to receive is top notch!

ok guys I need opinions. I intended to get these wheels powder coated or anodized black. The only reason I put them on is for the little extra weight up front. This wheel is ~5# heavier up front and I Like the rear being a tad wider without breaking the bank. I would prefer them to be black but it will be a pain in the A$$ to get it done with bearings and down time etc. What do you think? The bling is kinda growing on me.

Your K8 looks awesome, as for the rims, POWDER COATING adds weight(1lbs) vs. Painting them, with powdercoating yes you have to remove the wheel bearings, Painting you can leave them in????? anodizing black may be another option , however it will fade eventually. I would leave them bling polished look , it flows with the brocks can.

Hey there...New to this site..from Macomb, MI. I owned an 06 Busa (Red/Black), which I traded in for an 08 Busa (Orange) on November 15th of 2007.
I have a little over 1600 miles and counting...
Gotta love the orange...my favorite color!

I had it ceramic coated by a local guy. Brock does not offer it because the baffle is not removable. I can hook you up if interested, I have sent a few others from other sites to him and they all like it... He does great work..

So are your pegs also ceramic coated? Is the benefit of ceramic over powercoating the heat that the coating can take. Your Busa is exactly the look I want when I get mine. I am having a tough time deciding on colors but black with blacked out trim looks so Stealth is awesome. Congrats man...

Pipcked her up from the dealer after work on Friday, she had 3 miles on her, Rode to work this morning and she has 337 on her now...lol... It was an awesome weekend with three rain storms as well. She is filthy. So I'll clean her up tonight or tomorrow.
Removed the reflectors at 2 am with flashlight in mouth...lol...
I am loving this...

I have enclosed some pic's of Bundy's new 'Busa ( Bundy is my dog!) My intention was not so much to add bling, but rather, personalise it a little. Like any project or mod's, u never finish it! I have since added, Oxford Hot Grips, Garmin Zumo GPS and the front guard has been airbrushed with Bundy's face (will post up pic' soon). This bike will be covering large distances all over Australia, doing what Bundy & I do best. We lead a lot of various rides, mostly for charity, so Bundy's 'Busa has got to look the goods!:oh yeah: The white 'Busa is a Limited Edition in OZ! I bought the bike from a dealer with No Pre-Delivery and took it back to my workshop where I pulled it down, reassembled it with minor mods, ran it in on my dyno and went straight to fully Ester based synthetic oil, I think the dyno charts speak for themselves in running in via this method. I will post up as improvements are made.
Cheers,
Tex & Bundy
