This is how I roll to bike nights . Chicks did it. Sad thing is nobody ever wants to race me from light to light. twin NOS bottles and also a stealth Richards RCC turbo and 220 mph face plate all in chrome and at night neon orange. 1340 custom decals w/TURBO. triple plated chrome sceens. Smoke headlamp cover, helibars and throttlemister bar ends . Double outlet purge kit for NOS out the front air tubes by each turn signals looks awesome at night or day when purging, especially at traffic light next to a 2008 Kawi ZX14.Then he drops his head in shame as I let off the throttle at 6,000 rpm and launch leaving a 80 foot patch of rubber.

I finally got my 09 back on the road. I got prices for painting her at custom bike shops but that was running around $1200. Since paint was a very low priority as I was doing a bunch of other stuff, I went to Maaco. I tried several in the area until I found this one guy who was a biker and had paiinted a couple for friends and stuff. They did a pretty decent job for $400.

Can't lie, that's a sweet azz ride. Down the road I'll probably paint my chrome short meg. If I didn't like the corners so much I'd slam mine too. They look good that way to me.

This is the one I bought in Nov 0f 07 right before I joined Busanation. I've changed a few thing to it but, nothing to brag about. Due to a few family tragedys I 've been off of here awhile but, I'm on a comeback.

This is number 2 that I bought in June of this year got it home the first of July. I had spare plastic so, I used it and it has new forks, uppercowling brace, radiator, and upper and lower triple tree. Mufflers from the first one, and rear sets from a friend etc. It needs paint and some goods once I decide the out come.

This is my new one and I love it.:banana:

I had to sell my Gen 1 to finance this but I would have kept that one as well if I could. The new one is standard apart from a superspox rear sprocket and titax levers. Impressive!!

Hey Scauchi, That's a great looking bike! I love the Gen I!

Hey, don't get me wrong, I think the Gen II is a sweet bike, I just like the original lines of the Gen I a little more. I'm jealous of the extra ponies on the Gen II and some of the new features like the three modes and the new steering stabilizer / damper, front fairing and dash. I like the ass end of the Gen I better.

Very carefully with a dremel tool, you mark out where the bracket makes contact with the cowl and slowly cut away until you have a nice clean snug fit.

Done a few upgrades for 2012 on my 2008.
Galfer disks and lines, front and back, of course included new pads
Mesh in the faring holes
Smoked indicators and backlight.
New chain and sprocket kit.
So I am now ready for the spring.:drag_bike:
