Awesome!!! It would probably be wise at this point to consider going with secondaries/controller.
I have experienced first hand ,what can go wrong when PC fails

Hi Guys, anybody know where the intercooler was posistioned on this bike, i have a k8 turbo being rebuilt. The builder over here says its not possible to fit an intercooler because of space, i suggested fitting it in front of the radiator, he says then that the engine wont cool because of air flow restrictions is this true????????? Regards

i would say it makes sense but imnot a turbo guy either..sorry cant help, but the cooler being infront would block all air being drawn into the radiator i would think

Your builder does not seem to know as much as he likes to let on, an intercooler will fit in front of the factory radiator and the radiator will still cool the engine, it has been done for over 8 years now. You might want to look elsewhere for advise other then your current builder. Is this the same builder you paid to have turbo pistons installed and come to find out they were still the stock ones?
I can sell you a complete intercooled kit if you like and everything will fit and function properly.

Thanks Richard i agree its time to find someone else to put this back together for me. Short of sending the bike over there(i'll check with a shipping agent and customs on the regulations and costs) I'll be stuck here with idiots. Also i realise that the last problem was'nt caused by lack of an intercooler, but i see that most builds have one fitted also with the summer temp's we experience over here prehaps i should have one before the bike is sent back with another problem after this one....
